TION EXT is the development and patented equipment of the Tion company.
Tion Ext is an installation for air purification in exhaust ventilation systems of buildings from smoke, including tobacco smoke, various aerosols, gases, particles, harmful substances and odors. Cleans the air from any strong sources of pollution, including products from the emission of combi steamers and all types of ovens (except wood-burning), effectively cleans the emission from the production of drinks and food; can be used to clean the air from tobacco smoke when organizing smoking areas, etc.

(1) The prefiter: retains coarse dust and prevents dirt, fluff and wool from getting inside the device.Passing through the electrostatic unit.
(2) Electrostatic unit: Pollutants and bioaerosols acquire an electrostatic charge and are efficiently deposited on a volumetric HEPA filter.
(3) HEPA Filter:Due to the ozone produced from oxygen, an electrostatic unit in bactericidal concentrations ensures the inactivation (destruction) of viruses, bacteria, and mould spores. Due to inactivation, the volumetric HEPA filter is constantly sterilised during operation, including filter replacement (special methods for the disposal of used filters are not required). This ensures complete microbiological safety of the filtration system.Ozone is completely decomposed into oxygen, passing through an adsorption catalytic filter.
(4) Adsorption-catalytic filter: while accelerating the reactions of destruction of molecular chemical compounds. The adsorption-catalytic filter is designed to filter harmful substances in the gas phase and odors. The ozone concentration at the outlet of the device is guaranteed not to exceed the MPCss for the entire service life. Thus, the device can be operated around the clock in the presence of people. (5) The automation unit:An indication panel is provided for suspended models.
LED control and monitoring panel is designed for convenient control of Tion air purification units. It duplicates the signals of the indication panel located on the unit's automation unit. It can be located in any convenient place.
The unit is controlled from the control and monitoring panel. Up to 4 units of various capacities can be connected to one console at the same time. Installations connected to one control panel can be located in different rooms, the maximum distance to the control panel can be up to 100m. The units can be connected to a unified building management system.
Complex air purification units Tion Extra are equipped with a warning system that warns about the need for service 30 days in advance. Service consists of periodically cleaning the electrostatic unit (s), replacing the prefilter (s) and volumetric HEPA filters as they naturally deplete their resource. Replacement of adsorption catalytic filters is only necessary after prolonged and intense exposure to strong polluting factors. The service intervals depend on the degree of contamination of the processed air.

Tion Ext Advanced, Tion Ext Pro and Tion Ext-EL is the development and patented equipment of the Tion company.
Tion Ext is a family of units for cleaning exhaust air from kitchens of public catering places from oil mist, soot, smoke and odors (wood stoves, barbecues, stoves, deep fryers, tandoors, jospers, grills, combi ovens, etc.).

(1) Pre-filter.: Retains large particles of soot and other combustion products. Increases the service life of the following system components.
(2) Electrostatic unit charger.: Charges suspended particles so that they are captured by a high efficiency PP filter.
(3) Electrostatic block precipitator.:Retains charged particles of soot and fat, then the deposits flow down the walls of the precipitator into the sump.
(4) Non-woven polypropylene fiber filter: Retains mechanical particles charged by an electrostatic block, providing a high degree of air purification E11 (H11).
(5) Adsorption catalytic filter:Designed to clean the air from harmful gases and other volatile organic compounds. The efficiency is 99.95%.
(6) AFS (Anti-Fire System):Fire extinguishing system. Protection against fire propagation in the duct.

Virions (or “particles”) of coronaviruses are spherical particles between 0.06 micron and 0.14 micron in diameter, averaging about 0.125 micron, measured by electron microscope (Zhu et al, 2020). This means that coronavirus particles are smaller than PM2.5, but larger than some dust and gas particles
On 20 March 2020, Setti et all published a study at the Italian Society of Environmental Medicine (SIMA), in which they found a linear relationship with R=0.98 between PM10 levels above 50 microns / m3 and the rate of spread of COVID-19 in Italy. These results are fully consistent with scientific studies on the spread of viruses and bacteria in the population by suspended particles, which correlate the incidence of viral infections with the levels of atmospheric particles (PM10 and PM2.5). (Ciencewicki J. et al., 2007; Sedlmaier N., et al., 2009).The Italian experience indicates a direct relationship between higher levels of particulate matter PM10-2.5 and higher levels of VOC-19.
For every 50 μg/m3 increase in the daily average, the logarithmic infection rate increases by 0.234%. That is to say that at average PM10 levels of 350 μg/m3 , our infection rate will be twice as high as at levels below 50 μg/m3 , as can be seen among the different infection curves observed in the regions analysed in the Italian publication, in which the high infection rate in Lombardy in the other Italian regions stands out.
